"Practical Efficiency: Tips and tricks that work in the dental office."

 

Don’t rely on consultants who have never worked in a dental practice. Get the information from the source. As a dentist herself, Dr. Her-Ellison will provide her tips to help your practice run like a well-oiled machine, without breaking the bank. We will discuss the easiest ways to streamline the filling and billing process as well as increase production while decreasing your workload. Maximize your dental practice software and eliminate the time-consuming monotony of the job by adding cost effective, new technologies and workflow to the practice. We will provide a basic understanding of the rules and differences between federally and state regulated insurance companies and how they are affected by the new California state laws that are set to go into effect in 2025.  We will also touch on proper verbiage when speaking to patients to increase treatment acceptance and office standards, as well as proper collections procedures as to not open the practice to lawsuits.

Do you know how to respond if a lawsuit or compliance issue arises in your practice? This course will provide step-by-step guides on how to respond to possible situations using real-life scenarios that have occurred in dental practices. What do you do if you catch an employee stealing from the practice or need to discharge a patient? What do you do if you’re being audited by an insurance company or have a surprise OSHA inspection? How do you mitigate a data breach or respond to negative online reviews? Know which professionals you need to have available, who to contact, and what your legal responsibilities are if one or more of these circumstances occurs in your office.
